  Remember when you could walk into this place and feel like you didn't have to scream "I was next!" in order to get a sandwich. Call ahead and all you have to do is where a funny hat and maybe the counter person will look at you. Order ahead of you will likely get fired for taking 3 hours for your 30 minute lunch break. And they all sell cheese, which frankly someone along the way should have changed the name cause as much as I enjoy cow tongue jello (yes! That's what it basically is), the name is off putting. Head cheese honestly.. Can I go there? I'll just say uncircumcised and you figure the rest out. The pastrami is fantastic and the hot dogs they make in house are a bit shriveled so you will find yourself uncontrollably giggling which is embarrassing cause the place is packed and you are now the crazy one in the place. And if you have read this far into this review I am proud of you and think you are gonna be extremely successful in your life

  Very disappointed in the way we were treated at E Fishkill provisions today. Stopped in to get a fountain soda for my son who wasn’t feeling well. Walked in and no greeting except a grunt from a man sweeping who said in a nasty tone “we close in 5 min!” I said “no problem, just wanted to grab a drink”. I walked up to the counter to order and again, no greeting just a nasty “we are closing soon!” Now, I totally understand they prob had a long day and wanted to go home but I have owned a deli myself and worked in retail and I know that if you are open till 4 and your doors aren’t locked, you take customers until closing time. They also turned away another customer trying to come in, again with the doors not locked. It’s poor customer service and I will never go there again.
